Tourism and Leisure in Alsace

Whole Alsace, and particularly the area of Riquewihr, abound in tourist places, known and less known but very appreciated by visitors.

In addition to the omnipresent Alsatian vineyard in this part of France, the fortified castles are legion there, and which most known is without question the castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg, known in the whole world, which is about fifteen kilometers from Riquewihr.

Colmar, prefecture of Haut-Rhin, 15 km from Riquewihr, is a small quiet city where it is good to stroll around the streets. While pushing until Ribeauvillé (to 4 km of Riquewihr), one will be able to visit the 3 fortified castles at the time of a hike, as well as the famous Tower of the Butchers.
